I've had a couple of Western Digital external drives and they both still work fine even though one is decade old. For backing up I'd think you want to sticking with spinning hard drives and really anything from Western Digital or Seagate will be a safe and reliable pick.

Thanks, friends!
Aw, Aims, what great kids!
Anyone have a rec for an external hard drive?
I've got a Terabyte worth of Toshiba that's tiny and and works well.
I have two - one is a Toshiba, and one is Seagate, and I've had no issues with either. I don't think you can really go wrong with the major brands (Toshiba, Western Digital, Seagate). I'd just check to see if you can get a good deal on a 1 or 2 TB somewhere and go with the cheapest!
I would like a snack. But I saw someone delivering lunch (including cake!) earlier, and imagine something's going to end up in the kitchen at some point. So now I'm trying to time out when I swing by there so as not to miss it. Will report back.
So I went to bring my recycling (it doesn't get picked up out of our offices) and someone else's lunch leftovers were there! Including some sad-looking cold zeppole situation. I'm going again in a little while for my afternoon coffee.
I love this w-n-p. My favorite thing today.
What will Jesse eat?? WILL SHE GET CAKE?!?
Mmm, cake. Coworker brought in Lemon Cream Cheese cookies this morning, yum.
I would like a nap. I don't think that's going to happen.
I doubt I have enough exposure to the news to really count as an engaged member of society at this point, and even what little I get is exhausting, terrifying, horrifying, etc.
I bet an airfryer would make those zeppole delicious again.
