Natter 75: More Than a Million Natters Served
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Can that hat become the official court uniform? We need more of that hat in the world.
Ooh, ooh, let me show you all the hat I am (probably) getting to wear to Bats Day at Disneyland! [link]
I love that hat but it is a pain to travel with or else I am doing it wrong.
It Dragoncons well.
Jilli that hat is gorgeous
Hats are not easy to transport.
Today's luggage requirements don't allow for many hatboxes, alas.
I'm so far behind...
Mac, straighten up there young man. You are of an age where you should understand RESPECT. Especially for your mama.
Corset and hat are amazeballs and getting fashion ideas from Jilli is a bucket list item (at least it is for me).
Toddson - I send you expense-sheet~ma and don't-kill-the-coworker~ma.
I know there was more, but I am not fully awake. I went to my first ever hockey game last night with a big group of friends. We had fans of both teams in the group, so someone was happy with each play. The first period was me trying to figure out what was going on. The second period the other team was playing strong and scored 3 goals. But the third period our team came back, tied it up and forced the game into overtime (??? I forget what they call it) and I was IN THE ZONE - cheering, cringing, using body English to try to help the team. Yeah, I got sucked in. It was fun. I have a lot to learn but we are already planning a girls night(s) out for next season.
Hockey is great to see in person, doesn't translate nearly as well to television.
I have no Reese's peanut butter eggs, and that makes me sad.
The city has marked a lot of trees for removal if they're between the sidewalk and curb, especially if their root system has damaged the sidewalk. (The city planted them lo these many years ago, but let's ignore that.) So my next-door neighbor's tree is being cut down right now (which is sad, although it will radically cut down on how much raking we have to do in the fall).
But it's also noon on the first Wednesday of the month, so the tornado siren is being tested. The siren combined with the chainsawing makes it feel kind of post-apocalyptic out there. I'm expecting to hear a Godzilla roar any minute now.
