Now, I can hold a note for a long time...actually I can hold a note forever. But eventually that's just noise. It's the change we're listening for. The note coming after, and the one after that. That's what makes it music.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Election cake! I used dried cherries and raisins and dark rum.

Looks yummy! I really do need to get a bunt pan.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I'm wearing my Trample the Patriarchy t-shirt to vote. Also my Wonder Woman ring if I remember.

Our wings are not tired.

I'll have to go with wearing white since I will be volunteering to drive people to the polls. When not driving I will wear my Hillary gear.

Shopping today for my taco stuff to get ready for Tuesday. Only going to have people here who support Clinton.

Big Holt gathering here tomorrow. I will wear my Hillary gear then and see how polite my Trump relatives will be. I mean after all I won't be taking down my yard sign and they all see my posts on FB, so it won't be a surprise.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I will have to think about what to wear to vote, now. I love all y'all's ensembles!

I gave in to temptation and poked around that Nanoleaf site. The aurora is certainly intriguing, in a maybe someday I'll be ready for that way, but the ivy might be what I need now. Well, need is to strong, but it would be useful.

Oh dear, I just realized that the aurora might be an elegant solution to my kitchen lighting dilemma. Hm.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I can't decide if I should wear the pantsuit, or just let my H button speak for me.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Just a reminder - no overt campaigning stuff may be worn (where others can see it - so stick the H pin under a layer, and no one will know). Also check your local laws regarding cell-phone/ camera use in and around the polling stations.

What the heck kind of campaign have we been having that a pantsuit becomes a statement?

Oh, really? I didn't know that.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Yeah, there was a man (I think in Texas) that got arrested because he refused to remove or turn his "Basket of Deplorables" shirt inside out at an early voting station.

A friend of mine has a "Vagenda of Manocide" shirt that she plans on wearing to vote and I warned her to be careful because of that.

4 bags of leaves, covering about 4.5 houses and the street in front of them. And this is light, leaves haven't even begun to peak. I think last year, we did 15 bags one weekend. And given the breeze, by nightfall, it'll look like I've done nothing. But several folks out dogwalking, that I don't know, stopped to commiserate and compliment. Always happens and I love it.
