Some of you saw this on FB: Tim caught a mouse last night in a humane trap, and before he took it far away this morning, he gave it some granola and a cashew so it would be well fed for its new adventure.* That man, I swear. He is too good for this world.
*(The mouse was already fat as hell, since apparently it had been living large in our pantry. Ick. We set the trap again tonight to see if it had friends. There's probably a whole mouse commune in the attic. Little mouse yurts.)
Live? I've had a live one dropped on the bed before.
I am going to say... half live? On the way to being not live...
Reveal and unlock sins?!? Wow wtf.
Also, hi Emily!
Go declawed old cat with the mouse catching! Maybe don't bring it right to Sophia next time, but that is impressive.
I, as usual, heart Tim and his mouse-feeding ways.
Emily! Hi, Emily!
I can't really parse the human twins/ancient sins thing but I like the rhyme and meter of it.

This!
It is Saturday. I stayed in bed until after 7! My most excellent DH is going to the boat show in Palm Beach today to scope out all the selections before bringing me tomorrow to see those he thinks will interest me. I just don't enjoy it anymore as a sight seeing tour. He is pretty much totally on board with moving onto a boat after we sell this house. Head room in the head is his big requirement. Windows in the master cabin is my requirement.
Seriously, are there boats big enough for your DH??
There are several makes that have taller cabins. The ones with 6'8" clearance aren't an option.
That sounds awesome, though.
Biyi and I celebrated our 10th anniversary this week. Yesterday I finally found the right present for her. We were visiting a local community arts centre that was showing some paintings by a Chinese-born artist (Chinese village scenes, mostly). The gift shop was selling some richly coloured glass pendants - purple, blue, red-and-gold and so on. I asked Biyi if any of them appealed to her, and she chose a triangular pendant, green and gold (depending on the light). At least most of it was, pushing out from one of the lower corners. The border of the opposite edge was all black.
"What do you like about that one?"
"It looks like a penguin!"
"I... well ok then!"
So now she is wearing a penguin pendant to celebrate ten years of Penguin marriage.
