I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

These pins were available at Escapade and were a big hit. Money goes to the ACLU. It's the Star Wars Rebellion symbol and the word "Resist" on a rainbow flag or transgender flag background. They're working on one with a bisexual flag.

Art Crawl!!!

Random: youtube recently brought me the Kitten Academy livefeed. Should you ever need a kitten break try their website. (Link to a litter named for fonts. .. something I thought buffistas would particularly appreciate.)

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Lesson of my day... Never, ever, let circus people schedule, organize, or plan anything in your life.

not your mom's socks.

I may be making some Grammar Pedant Heraldry to combat stress. and procrastinate.

The Serial Comma banner has Semper, Semper, Semper and three commas - does that sound right?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Lesson of my day... Never, ever, let circus people schedule, organize, or plan anything in your life.

Because you make plans with them, but more and more of them keep pouring out of their cars?

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

If I had a financial advisor, he'd probably laugh at my paltry 401k, but I don't want to lose it in the coming crash. I could move it into "safer" vehicles but what's actually safe if he crashes the economy?

Yeah. Hopefully he can't crash the whole world's economy (one hopes). So I have some stuff in international stuff, and some stuff in renewables, and then we decided to cash out some stuff that's done really well and set that aside so it's protected (assuming we don't get a huge hit of inflation on top of everything else).

I went wine-tasting with a fan friend (Monanotlisa, for those who know her) and then had excellent shrimp tacos with a serrano margarita. What I shouldn't have done is have another glass of wine when I got home. That said, I still went for a run this morning, and assembled my new vacuum cleaner (it's so light! And fast! And vacuumy!), and in 7 minutes I will change my clothes and get ready for dog class. Oh my exciting life.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Quiet weekend here.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I totally bought tater tots thanks to you people. Or "Crowns," I think.
