The bars on the street where I work opened at 7AM. I'm side-eyeing everyone wearing green today. I'm just assuming that they're drunk already.
Also side-eyeing my coworkers who are sick and came to work anyway.

Congratulations, Debet! Yay happy news!
Tonight is going to be at peak jackass levels, since it's St. Patrick's Day, a Friday, and the NCAA tournament is going on. Around here people are totally excited because Northern Kentucky University (which is a wee tiny school, comparatively) made it to the NCAA tournament this year, and tonight they play UK. So basically everyone is losing their shit over this game.
There's no way in hell we're going out tonight, because we are Olds, but I will watch the game. I always root for the underdog.
Yay, Congratulations Debet!
And bon voyage, brenda - that sounds incredible.
(You should imagine I said "bon voyage" like Bugs Bunny)
I'm not going to rage, because it's a waste of energy, but now the insurance company has denied one of husband's meds (that he's been on for years) because they want him to try something else (presumably cheaper).
How fucking dare they interfere with someone's health like this. Fucking capitalism.

Hubby often wanted to charge the beancounters with practicing medicine without a license.
I'm glad I'm not in Salt Lake today, we've got NCAA stuff, plus St. Paddy's and Friday, with our local Comic Con on top of it. Drunk pseudo-Irish sports fans with added Klingons.

Can his doctor appeal it? Mine had to do that last year.

Yeah, I think so. It looks like the drug they're suggesting may not be suitable, due to a side affect. But we've been trying to get this prescription filled for almost a month. It's so exhausting to keep calling the doctor, then the insurance company, then the doctor again, ad nauseam.
Okay, the doctor says the switch will be okay. I feel like we're letting the assholes win, but I suppose it's more important that he get his medication.
I just can't believe these guys are worse than Aetna.
woohoo, Debet!!!
