Wesley: All right. I'm going to let you all in on something you may have trouble comprehending. I assure you however-- Gunn: Vampires are real. Wesley: I was telling!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I leave for the airport in less than 5 hours. Checklist:

GPS (updated)
clothes for 6 days
med
snacks
books
phones/computer/kindle
power cords
toothbrush/toilitries
pjs
passports

Had talk with mac about staying with me, keeping his passport on him, saying yes ma'am/sir to people if he is stopped for any reason, and making sure he knows to always tell people he is a minor and ask to get his parent.

I've gymed, mailed ebay things at PO, and am about to take the dog to sitters.

What am I forgetting?

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Aw, Annie Lamott was responsible for at least two Buffistas. I attended a weekend seminar at which she was among the speakers. She mentioned having a column (a guest column? Was she ever a regular columnist?) on Salon, so I went to check it out, discovered TableTalk, and Agnes Bertiz!

I was thinking the other day of Tim visiting the Angel thread after eps aired, getting a sense of how the series was being perceived by viewers. TableTalk was a long time ago. And then there was WorldCrossing. And then we came home. Thank you, ita.

And bon voyage, msbelle!

brillig

It's a warm weekend. I have my balcony door open. Someone is cooking something that smells very delicious. I hear kids laughing in the distance. This bodes well for summer.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

It's a warm weekend. I have my balcony door open.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I made a lemon pound cake. I've had better, but even mediocre lemon pound cake ain't bad.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

It's a beautiful day here. There was fog nestling in the valleys on this side of the straits this morning, and serious fog in the East Bay, but miraculously clear in SF. And by the time I got home, lovely here as well.
