In better me news, the DVD of the movie of the first book of the Louise Penny series I'm currently obsessed with is waiting for me at the library.
OH!! I did not know there was a movie... Off to Google..
On the plus side, I'm back in the land where not only is chocolate on bread is a perfectly normal snack, but my office provides the chocolate wafers and bread.
This. This is normal. So say we all. Blood and water soaked stages and tornadoes, not so much.
Ooh, good luck, Dana.
I only found out because I was searching for all available Louise Penny at the library and that was the thing with the shortest wait!
Heh. Media is media, right?
Prior to computers I cut out little pieces of furniture to scale on paper.
I still do this, with great relish. It's kind of obsessive for me. Though, I am certain, much less precise than computer modeling.
Gud, I know you have more expertise than I do, but less time to build a site by hand, so I highly recommend the theme I used for my fancy new site.
It's the Mentor theme, and I found it at envato.
It is specifically designed for therapists.
Ugh, my test results came in today, and my doctor wants me to reduce fat in my diet and lose weight because of a fatty liver. I'm onboard with losing weight (been trying for over a year), but my diet is already pretty darn good about fat—it's salt that I eat scandalous amounts of. I mean I can drop the very occasional pork products for breakfast and phase out my last couple meals/week with red meat, but I'm not going to get rid of dairy, and every salad dressing I've seen has some amount of fat in it.
Media is media, right?
Exactly.
Did you tell him you were already eating a pretty low fat diet, Matt? Sorry about the liver.
He knows, and approved at my physical. I can handle a short-term austerity diet, but there's not all that much fat I can trim out long-term; I already avoid most sweets and baked goods, gravy, fatty meats, and sour cream and use butter sparingly. A couple of healthier meat choices a week and cutting out the bowlful of chips I have every other day or so are about it.
Timelies all!
Mr. S is having frequent meltdowns.(Usually when he is prevented from doing something he wants to do and we don't want him to do it.)
I have realized that "the toddler meltdown" scans to "The Final Countdown". (You're welcome.)
Now imagining Sheryl disappearing in a puff of smoke a la Gob
That's a drag, Matt. Hope something works out.

Thanks.
