I have realized that "the toddler meltdown" scans to "The Final Countdown". (You're welcome.)
Thanks. t as that guitar riff plays in my head
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Matt, my cholesterol was bad, but already being vegetarian there was little for me to give up. I did the opposite by adding the good stuff, like oatmeal daily, and had quite dramatic improvement in my numbers. Maybe something like that would work better.

I am on strike except for car rides. There is plenty of food available to him, but I am not making anything specifically for him.
Mom strike!
I thought it's sugar, not fat, that causes fatty liver? That's why it happens with high alcohol intake? Like, to get foie gras you stuff the goose with corn, not bacon... IDK IANAD
Maybe—I'm going to switch to Splenda or aspertame with coffee and see if that makes a difference.

I'll give anything a try at this point. I hate oatmeal, but I can choke it down if I have to.
What about cheerios?
or making a smoothie with oatmeal and fruit and milk
The cable guy was just here, upgrading. Hmming and poking at meters and things, I hear, sotto voce, "Hsss, these things don't usually do that."
"You don't usually see this in a large appliance," I said, offhand.
Guy cracked up. "Ghostbusters!" he muttered with a grin.
Day? Made.

Stevia! Much better option. And yeah, I get a lot of my oatmeal in smoothies. Less trouble than cooking in this hot climate.
