Not even a rum mixed drink? I think that's where I started when I started drinking alcohol because mixed rum drinks are usually sweet.

Where rum is involved, drunk is always an appropriate word.
So true. The last time I was stumble down drunk with the hangover to show for it was over rum. Friends had some super special island rum and it was just too damn tasty.
I have to plan an election night taco party that will have sangria and not rum. Also a family thing on Sunday and another one on Monday. I should get on that.

My stepdad makes rum balls that are lethal at Christmas. They're not cooked at all, and I think he uses way more rum than the recipe calls for.

I never had much of a tolerance for alcohol, and I have almost none now that I am an old lady. I am basically a one-drink person, and I have to be really careful about red wine.
