Good choices, msbelle! I'm assuming the yeti is a gentle "abominable snowman" type creature who requires no labor intensive maintenance and will thrive in Texas. Somehow.
I'm still at work THIS IS SO NOT RIGHT DAMMIT

The company had already given us 30 oz. tumblers last year. I gave mine to my dad because it is too big for my car.
Tonight I got the 18oz bottle. I already have many water bottles, but this is very nice and I will use it.
Nice.
If Excel would just finish running this macro I could go home. I don't even care if it works at this point.
At last, it is done. Didn't work right, but I will fix it on Tuesday. Or whenever. Don't care.
Oh, that is nice, msbelle.
Go home, -t!
Meanwhile, I'm going to bed.
Well hmph. Both of my neighbors that I'd invited over to dinner tonight forgot, with one making other plans and the other eating a big lunch at 3pm. Oh well, it got me out of work at a decent hour and I'm now eating very tasty char-grilled fish.
~Ma for your mom, Strix.
I *did* go home, hooray! And now I have fed the critters (did I mention that Lucy who used to be half of Lucy and Ethel now seems more like a Miss Lucy Westenra Bunnicula? I don't know of she's aware of it, but I can see it) and myself, greeted the Sabbath, gathered up most of the stuff I need for tomorrow and have the rest either tumbling in the dryer or charging at an outlet, so bed is the next logical step. Sorry about the company flaking, Matt, glad the fish didn't disappoint!
Tried to catch the last weekend of the Black Panthers exhibit at the local museum, but I was not the only one with that idea. It was packed, and that exhibit was sold out. So my friend E & I had a nice wander through the hall of California Art & then went out for a late meal.
I had forgotten about Friday nights at the museum, where all the food trucks show up and there's a band and a bar. Great scene, lots of people of all sorts of persuasions, ages, and colors. Plus art!
Still, it's cold. And so much of the world is horrible. But my dog is sweet and the Mexican-chocolate-and-cherry brownies I made the other day are really tasty.
That's some pretty good good stuff!
