Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

JZ, I really hated voting in SF. the CA ballot measures and the study guides for them were worse than grad school!

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Today has been Tino-iest day of the month. And we're only three days in.

In addition to insane stuff at large, I order milk shakes for the twins at from drive thru. They handed them to me in a carrier. When I went to take one out, it toppled all over my car, my own drink, the stick shift, my skirt, and the passenger seat. I was livid. ARGH. Such a stupid thing to have happen and now my car will smell unpleasantly like spilt milk.

I could have cried.

Oh, ugh. I believe I have cried in very similar situations, Kat, while berating myself that crying over spilt milk is exactly what is no use!

In better news of the day: I am finally having my sandwich, and it is good. Way underestimated how long it would take to heat up the ham, but did not overestimate the tastiness.

Y'all, I think I thought there were 9 pennies because I read the problem as "8 pennies and a lighter penny [making 9]". Oops.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

So, the Economist has endorsed Hillary Clinton. [link] It has now endorsed the Democratic presidential candidate for four elections in a row.

Wow, that's an interesting factoid.

I hope the card turns up, msbelle. I'm just about to give up on mine and get a new one. The downside of having a small credit union where the tellers all chat with me and notice that I've changed my hair is it's really embarrassing to have to tell them I've already lost my new card. I mean, they are nice about it, but I am embarrassed. So, have been putting it off, but not for too much longer. At this point it's more about remembering to do something about it during business hours, which is also a challenge.

I just had a second sandwich, and now I'm going to stay up "late"and watch another hour of television because I am the grown up in this house.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Luckily I started the day with a breakfast sandwich, as lunch was an airport taco and dinner was extremely nummy fresh sushi in Hollywood. Los Angeles, I am in you! And my luggage even made it to the destination with me despite a hair-raisingly close connection in Houston!

Woo! Welcome to California, have a wonderful time!

I should not be awake. But I was thinking, would it be clearer to phrase that penny question as "what is the shortest process" instead of "what is the minimum number of steps needed"?

Coding and Sleeping

I am not liking what I'm seeing on Five Thirty Eight.

I am so dispirited about this election. Trump says thing after thing that isn't true and nobody cares. I had a friend e-mail me about my opinion on Gary Johnson while saying he couldn't vote for Clinton because she is a criminal and massively evil. I have another friend share right-wing articles that are almost complete fantasy. It's just so depressing. Doesn't anyone give a shit about what's actually true or not? Hell, even journalists spend far more time on the optics of stories rather than the truth.

This whole e-mail thing is so frustrating. Doesn't any journalist realize that Clinton using a private server rather than a state department server doesn't really change much of anything? She'd still have to use a secure system for classified material and a regular system for normal e-mail. You have exactly the same issues. You can't fucking criminalize state department people just doing their jobs. Then Comney sends this letter because there might be new evidence in the future, but probably not? What the fuck is that?
