It's still entirely possible to do the work on Tuesday even if it's not due until Thursday.
While this is a true statement, I'm sure I would find myself being one of those students who gets to Tuesday, thinks to myself "I don't have to do this until Thursday, so I'll do something else now" and gets my whole week out of whack. I wouldn't complain to anyone for giving me MORE TIME to get something done ever, though.
THis just in: peppermint tea + chocolate cake = yum.
Well fuck, Scott Pruitt got confirmed. I knew he would, but I still have to say 'fuck'.
I just had a brief discussion with a co-worker about how that could explain why Mother Nature is all pissed off and thinking about flooding us.
I don't get it. I feel like, secretly, House/Senate Republicans MUST be like "Yo this is all crazy", and yet they just keep confirming his batshit insane Cabinet nominees! I don't know. However, I don't think very many think it's a big deal or think there's not much to be done about it.

Even if they don't, there are SO MANY OTHER THINGS that the EPA does! Clean air! Clean water! Toxic waste disposal! Poison control! Cleaning up sites like Love Canal! Fixing the lead in the pipes in places like Flint!
I have been to China, and the air there is a fucking nightmare. The EPA serves a public health function, and I'm really worried about cancer and asthma rates in the near future.
