I don't get it. I feel like, secretly, House/Senate Republicans MUST be like "Yo this is all crazy", and yet they just keep confirming his batshit insane Cabinet nominees!

Even if they don't, there are SO MANY OTHER THINGS that the EPA does! Clean air! Clean water! Toxic waste disposal! Poison control! Cleaning up sites like Love Canal! Fixing the lead in the pipes in places like Flint!
I have been to China, and the air there is a fucking nightmare. The EPA serves a public health function, and I'm really worried about cancer and asthma rates in the near future.

Yeah, but the GOP's official stance has been that government regulation is just not necessary for pretty much anything, the market will take care of it.
There's also that idea the environmental protections are just an excuse for liberal elites to control everybody's life.
