If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

I had sushi for lunch, and I'm having stew for dinner. I have failed at National Sandwich Day.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I think it would work the same with 8. You make two piles of three and one of two, weigh the two piles of three against each other and the coin is either in one of those piles or it is in the pile of two.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

Thanks for nothing, man -- I already didn't have a sandwich for lunch and probably won't have a sandwich for dinner!

Same here. I am overwhelmed with my sandwichlessness.

Punishingly Intricate

I had salad for lunch. That's like the OPPOSITE of a sandwich. Tonight we're going to a benefit for the neighborhood family center where a bunch of restaurants in the 'hood are providing samples of their fare. There's a good possibility there'll be sandwiches there!

Oops. I missed Jessica's post saying the same thing. That's what I get for posting while distracted by a toddler.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Guys, if you want to point and laugh, my first instinct was that one of the pennies was a lighter color and I was all like Picard - How the fuck...?????

That's wonderful. I would take "I'd just look at them and see which is not as dark as the others" as a correct answer. With bonus points.

Ooh, I haven't had lunch yet! I do not have the capability of having a sandwich, though. But maybe for dinner! I'd better make that happen.

brillig

I want a Cuban sandwich. I have no justification for buying a Panini press for myself. I had one in a diner style restaurant (Denny's, IHOP, I don't know) and it was wonderful, but none of the places around me seem to have it anymore. Bah.

I should be starting dinner, but instead I'm sitting on the couch watching Sesame Street with ltc.

Do you have a waffle iron, Connie?

Or an iron?

Or two cast iron skillets? Maybe even one cast iron and a larger one made of something else. I think that would work.

I'm in problem-solving mode now.

Our wings are not tired.

It was Chinese for lunch, and leftover Chinese for dinner. I may have to pretend tomorrow is sandwich day.
