Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh no, Omnis. Would someone else coordinate? I can't do it right now.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Grubhub sounds good.

Art Crawl!!!

Happy Birthday Connie!

(Hmmm, I wonder if there is a place I can get macarons around here. )

I'm watching Westminster - even though it is on Fox Sports.

Dana - my brother who skates (skateboards) goes on road trips with buddies to try out parks all over the place. Seems like that would be better than having one in your backyard!

Also: I had an excellent customer service experience: I ordered some dark green beads from Fusion Beads - they arrived and were clear. . .

I called the company, spoke to customer service, sent them a picture of the beads with the wrong color and product number and they shipped me the right beads right away. . . as in I spoke to them on Saturday and my replacement beads came today.

(Hmmm, I wonder if there is a place I can get macarons around here. )

I'm getting mine from the freezer section at my local Kroger affiliate supermarket. Check the frozen dessert section.

Thanks again for all the birthday wishes.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Shit shit shit. Omnis, I hope you can feel all the love we're sending you.

And I definitely want to contribute to a gift, but can't offer to do the coordinating.

Art Crawl!!!

Connie: check. Probably Hy-Vee would be my best bet. (I'm planning on going there on Weds. for their bulk food deals.)

Our wings are not tired.

Heartbroken over the news, Omnis. Also grateful for the time we spent together during a visit to that left coast. Omnis, I am grateful that you have shared your hard news with us so that people have the opportunity to tell you how much you have touched their lives. I have seen the posts on FB which clearly show how many people care about you and are sending love and prayers.

None of ever know in advance how we are going to handle this type of diagnosis, but such a positive and courageous attitude is what we can hope for. One of my dearest and closest friends was given a dire prognosis a while ago. When he gave me the news his attitude was inspiring. He said it was the very best he could have hoped for because there was time for him to say goodbye to friends, for his family from distances to return to see him, to have the opportunity to know in advance. He was the most positive person I ever knew, and he spent his life determined to play the ball where it lies. (who understands golfers!)

For now I am going to be grateful that the world has Omnis, and pray that however much more time we have you will be time spent surrounded with love.
