Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

For royal watchers! One of my PBS stations is doing The Queen At 90, with various members of her family watching her home movies.

Ooh! I found it on some random station I hope I actually get.

I had almost too many people over for brunch, but it was great! But seriously, barely enough food, barely enough chairs, etc. And one backed out last-minute! And then we made valentines for Elizabeth Warren, which was hilarious.

Sound good, Jesse!

I was right, missed my swim. But the pup is ok after eating chocolate, so that's all that matters. Second floor is mopped, one batch of cookies made, load of laundry almost done.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Damn, I think I'm having an allergic reaction to my new deoderant. At first I thought I was just stinging from where my clumsy cat fell on me claws-first earlier today, but this looks like hives and is way itchier than 8-hour-old punctures should be.

Aw jeez, I had a round of that not long ago. Not a new deodorant, new formulation. Not fun trying to find something new and not exacerbating the reaction. And not stinking and being drenched in sweat.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Went to a rally for PP today. Couple hundred people. Pretty good turnout for our small city. Lots of people honked and waved as they drove by. Good feeling. It wouldn't have mattered if I hadn't been there, but it mattered that I was.

ION I got sunburned on my face, on a cloudy day, even with sunscreen on. Ridiculous even for me. O Steph, keeper of drug knowledge, does Effexor increase sun sensitivity?

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

does Effexor increase sun sensitivity?

I looked it up, and apparently photosensitivity is an infrequent (but not rare) side effect of Effexor.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Thanks msbelle.

The Escape Room was a blast. Whoever said personality mix is key is absolutely right I can't imagine doing it with a group of people who didn't know eachother at all. Weven were pretty good about trading offor when we got stuck on different puzzles. Every person contributed and we were two digits away from the final code needed to escape before time ran out. So darned close.

Dinner and drinks after went great but my daughter and her bf tuckered out early. I called birthday privilege on them saying they had to clean up before they could turn in. Everyone is gone note and they are already in bed. Meanwhile I'm still buzzed and bummed that people are gone.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I am glad you had a giid time on your birthday, Suzi!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I'm so glad it went well, Suxi!

wouldn't have mattered if I hadn't been there, but it mattered that I was.

Oh, wow, that's a great way to put it. Good for you, Zen.

I had a wonderful day: 5k, Thai lunch, wine and chocolate stroll, dinner. My parents' car randomly conked out when we were leaving their house for the 5k, so I ended up driving all day, but that was fine. We made made it to everything, which was the important thing. I think we ended up one site short on the wine stroll, but we had a lot of fun chatting with the proprietors and our fellow strollers at the 23 places we made it to, so I'm gonna call it a success.

My phone battery died when I was talking to my sister at dinner (my dad let me borrow his phone to call her back, no harm done) , so I had no music playing while it charged up on my way home. Since I had Hey Jude stuck in my head for whatever reason, once I had enough battery I tried the iTunes Radio thing for the first time with Hey Jude as a seed (or whatever they call it) and it's been quite pleasant. Technology, sometimes very nice.
