Mal: Well, you were right about this being a bad idea. Zoe: Thanks for sayin', sir.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Help, I have a cat on my lap. Well, I did, until Mr. S(aka Mr. Grabbyhands) scared her away. Sigh.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Hil, I'd push back on that too. Don't let that stand as is on your official review.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Yeah, get it in the record that that is not your understanding that online teaching is an accommodation and you did not ask for it as such, at the very least.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Watching last night's Scandal, and the one thing that made me think, "But that would never happen!!" is about the electoral college.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Jesse, I watched it last night too. I agree that would not happen wrt the electoral college. They would likely pick someone, anyone from the same party rather than the opponent. Also, I'm pretty sure Jake had something to do with the assassination since he was missing when the results were coming in, and I'm also suspicious of Vargas's wife for no other reason than I think all that time spent on whether or not she had her cellphone is going to be important.

call me jacki; zuisa is an internet nick from ancient times =)

Got an email tonight that if you donate $25 to Elizabeth Warren's 2018 Senate campaign, you get an official "Nevertheless, she persisted" shirt. So I'm probably going to have to do that.

One of saddest things about leaving Massachusetts is that she isn't my Senator anymore!

Edited to include the link in case anyone else is interested!

Agreed on all points, sj.

Coding and Sleeping

"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing."

Thanks. I'm looking to persuade, and that's a great quote.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

In a discussion with an old college friend that I know took classes with the prof who wrote books about Edmund Burke (and assigned it to be read in the relevant class), I justified my possibly ineffectual Facebook activism as my attempts to not be doing the nothing which would allow Trump to succeed.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

For those of you who have/buy LLR, you will probably feel me on this. I am destashing. Some stuff I bought and never wore, some I bought as an outfit and kept the other piece. Some leggings I bought in OS and have decided I am only gonna wear TC aside from a few few pairs. Some I bought and did not like once I put on. And then, in the case of Julias, I bought 3 in a size before I realized/accepted I needed a bigger size.

anyway, here's to hoping I can recoup some of my $$.
