call me jacki; zuisa is an internet nick from ancient times =)

Got an email tonight that if you donate $25 to Elizabeth Warren's 2018 Senate campaign, you get an official "Nevertheless, she persisted" shirt. So I'm probably going to have to do that.

One of saddest things about leaving Massachusetts is that she isn't my Senator anymore!

Edited to include the link in case anyone else is interested!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Agreed on all points, sj.

"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing."

Thanks. I'm looking to persuade, and that's a great quote.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

In a discussion with an old college friend that I know took classes with the prof who wrote books about Edmund Burke (and assigned it to be read in the relevant class), I justified my possibly ineffectual Facebook activism as my attempts to not be doing the nothing which would allow Trump to succeed.

For those of you who have/buy LLR, you will probably feel me on this. I am destashing. Some stuff I bought and never wore, some I bought as an outfit and kept the other piece. Some leggings I bought in OS and have decided I am only gonna wear TC aside from a few few pairs. Some I bought and did not like once I put on. And then, in the case of Julias, I bought 3 in a size before I realized/accepted I needed a bigger size.

anyway, here's to hoping I can recoup some of my $$.

13 listings up and I am heading to bed. I have 4-5 more to still get up, but that will be tomorrow.

Omg. Went to a sample sale for these running clothes. I know t gets crazy so I got there a little over an hour early--about 6:50. I was shocked to be the only one--I feel like last time I was two or three. And then the lady running it showed up and was like "damn, you got here before me? I'll let you in early". Private sale! I left before they let anyone else in (and get like an asshole walking down the now-full hallway of waiting fan girls). But I did spend $300. OMG.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Msbelle where are you selling them? EBay? I have some to destash myself. I posted them in one of the LLR resale FB pages and other than a few questions, I've had no bites.

brillig

For royal watchers! One of my PBS stations is doing The Queen At 90, with various members of her family watching her home movies. Harry's all but squealing "That's so sweet!" and the Queen with Philip watching one and saying "This is one of my favorites--oh, David, get out of the way."

It's airing Monday evening on my station, I don't know if that's a standard broadcast or what.

yes, Suzi, ebay. I had the same experience on a trade/sell LLR page on FB, plus I can let them auction out without having to pay attention or pay attention to email this way.
