And I'm definitely looking into immigration if Trump wins. For serious.
You should hear the discussions happening in the government around this. No one thinks they can work for him, but at the same time we all swore an oath to protect the Constitution.
And then there are the few deplorables who want to have their salary and benefits paid for by the government but don't want to pay taxes, or who think it's OK to support a government by and for just some of the people.
He's not going to win.
Woohoo! May your people be more sensible than the British.
If nothing else, I think enough women are now mad enough to make sure they get out to vote.

This? Is what scares the hell out of me. The Brexit polling was wrong. The Colombia/FARC peace referendum polling was wrong. What if this polling is wrong?
I might be super fatalistic today, but I'm not sure if things will change once HRC is president. The fringes--on both the right and the left--have been given a voice, and now believe they are the majority. They're not going to accept any alterations of their world view quietly.
I am taking heart in the record early voting numbers and hoping they have severely underestimated how pissed off Latinos are. And therefore the Latino turnout. Guac that vote, la gente! (That is prob incorrect as I don't hablo español, but I hope it's not unintentionally insulting).

I didn't follow the polling for Brexit or the Colombia/FARC referendum (so I don't know how many polls/poll sites existed for them), but for our election, more than 1 reputable poll site (probably more than 3, though I only follow 3) have HRC winning. It's the consistent results across sites that make me feel secure.

I worry about that, but then -- stuff *has* changed under Pres. Obama, despite all the obstructionism and racism. I believe things will change under HRC as well.
I found myself doing the IKEA breakfast club this morning (though I only had the free coffee) while waiting for the store to open (got my rug and duvet, forgot the antislip pad...) I had no idea it was aThing. Like 50 seniors who all knew each other, a bunch of moms with littles and 10 or so grad school ageish folks working the free wifi. Wild.
Parents gone. I'll miss them. Surprisingly little chafing, I must be mellowing.
That's great, sara. I've enjoyed your reports!

Even though I doubt he'll win, knowing how many of my fellow citizens like what he represents is deeply depressing. It's like living somewhere for years, and opening a drawer that you rarely go to, only to find rat droppings. You may have suspected that rats have been around for a while. But now you know.
I don't know, I've been reading complaints from Canadians about the quality of their healthcare system lately. Yeah the price is right, but at least some people are finding they got what they paid for.
Define complaints about quality.
