I know it sounds like a speedball, but they're actually fine to take together at normal doses. People with ADD need pain control sometimes.
If the doses were too high, or if she was abusing them, that's a whole other kettle of fish. And it sounds like the interaction was not between the drugs and each other, but between the drugs and the medical condition, which is totally a thing.
I feel like that was pharmasplaining. Sorry.
I appreciate the explanation, Steph.
Today has been a total self care day so far. I feel very indulged but now I need to buckle down and get some homework done.
I got the pedicure and fucked up one of the big toes, as I would have predicted. Oh well -- no one is seeing them anyway!
Roasted carrot and red lentil ragout is simmering...
I'm about to make a strawberry sour cream pie.
Anybody else read ragout as rage out? I spent about half a second trying to figure out why the red lentils were so upset with the carrots.
The ragout has a little kick to it (2 kinds of chili powder, plus cayenne) but I wouldn't call it angry. It's less flavorful than I might have liked, but not bad. It makes for a pretty easy, filling, and cheap winter stew.
Oooh, strawberry sour cream pie. I need to look that up.
Anybody else read ragout as rage out?
::raises hand::
Thanks for the explanation, Tep! I appreciate the pharmsplaining, actually.
