Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

If society is collapsing, I'm going to regret getting rid of half my swords. At least I still have the bearded axe, and Sting is surprisingly sturdy.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

And then the hair salon called me back to make sure I knew what was involved with coloring my hair.

My body is my weapon which is why I'm having the busted ligaments in ball of my foot fixed in a couple of weeks! I can't kick fascist asses with a sore paw!

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Gray hair is more resistant to coloring than white. I don't remember the exact science behind it (cosmetology school was a long time ago), but it's a known thing.

If society is collapsing, I should really get around to starting my cult, huh?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

This is when I mention how much I'm still in love with the water cooler delivery service. Thanks Costco!

Art Crawl!!!

Last week I went for an eye checkup. (I was quite overdue for it.) Eyes haven't changed but the doctor suggested getting stronger readers for when I'm wearing my contacts and I did and I tried it today and it worked so much better than my previous readers. Now if only my eyes could atand the contacts better.

How do you bust ligaments in your foot? That sounds awful!

Our wings are not tired.

The (far too few) hairs that have turned seem more white than gray, so here's hoping. Considering my family history I think I will have a long wait.

¯_(ツ)_/¯

The ball of my foot started hurting and getting slightly swollen around thanksgiving. I can still walk on it and stuff, it's not that painful, just annoying.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Yikes, Calli!

He'll be glad to have that cartilage if society collapses.

Pink sparkly hearts, lisah.

My "grey" hair is actually white, but doesn't take color well at all. My brown hair is kinda resistant also, I think, so maybe there is something else going on.
