I like that the description of the basement on that house is "Michigan." The basement is Michigan. Which, unfortunately, sounds like a plot point out of a Harry Dresden novel.

A friend of mine once had a cat that had to be given pills. The usual struggles ensued, to the point I suggested that the pills were placebos and the purpose was the struggle, to get the (overweight) cat some exercise. One morning, the cat was pilled and, on being released, jumped on my friend's shoulder, spat the pill into her shirt pocket, and jumped down and ran off.
One of the guest cabins should be a library/cafe.
Does the UP get enough snow that there could be snow tunnels between the cabins - like in Hokkaido? (Or so said my mother when I was a child. .. she had cousins that skied to school in the winter.)
Toddson - that cat was a ninja!
Goth chicken! If I can't have outlaw bees, maybe I can raise goth chickens?
Toddson, we swear by our pill popper. It's a syringe large enough to put a pill in and, if we do it right, send the pill right down the cat's throat.
Why am I arguing on FB with someone about whether it's okay to call an actual Nazi a Nazi? Dude is all "the word is thrown around too freely to refer to anyone a liberal doesn't like, and it leads to people getting punched!" And I'm all "the word is used to refer to someone who advocates for the elimination of entire demographics of humanity, and that IS someone who deserves to be punched!"
How is this a question in 2017? In fact, how it is 2017 and we are having conversations about Nazis that aren't referencing The Sound of Music but actual shitbags in the White House? God almighty.
Seriously, you know Chris Evans is never going to be invited to a White house event as long as Bannon's slouching around whispering in the President's ear.
You guys, I just walked past the Yemeni protest on my way home from work. That was really impressive.

Timelies all!
I hope that we don't have to give our cats meds anytime soon. It'll be a challenge to pill Nova, but she does let us hold her. Luna, on the other hand, will rarely get within petting range, never mind actually pilling here. Getting her into the carrier to go to the vet is always a mad scramble.
