But Tom, the caretaker comes with the island. So no need to worry.
Not that it helped a whole lot. At best, his attitude toward meds were, "Okay, you got me. Get it over with. Unless I'm able to spit something out."
Yeah, my second try at the thyroid meds for Hazel was a fish-flavored "treat," which she would eat every so often, but not reliably. Now we're on the transdermal.
Slinky is annoyed by the transdermal thyroid meds, but she tolerates it, unlike trying to give her a pill. That is a suicide mission.
Oh yeah, the transdermal goes just fine. As does the liquid steroids, actually. Way way better than a pill!
Oh Steph, actually maybe you can answer my drug question! I think the difference between the non-cherry I got last time and the current re-fill is that the first was a suspension and this is a syrup. I honestly don't know on that one. I feel like they should be the same, but maybe call to be sure?
OK, the internet tells me it's something about how dissolved the medicine is, so I'm not going to worry about it for the moment.
I'm not a fan of winter, but I could accept a Buffista Island in the UP, as long as the house has at least one working fireplace. Covered or enclosed walkways between the house and any guest cabins would also be nice.
I like that the description of the basement on that house is "Michigan." The basement is Michigan. Which, unfortunately, sounds like a plot point out of a Harry Dresden novel.
A friend of mine once had a cat that had to be given pills. The usual struggles ensued, to the point I suggested that the pills were placebos and the purpose was the struggle, to get the (overweight) cat some exercise. One morning, the cat was pilled and, on being released, jumped on my friend's shoulder, spat the pill into her shirt pocket, and jumped down and ran off.
