We just finished four days of looking at real estate around Ann Arbor/Detroit area, to see where we might like to move. people gave us all SORTS of suggestions, and we met with different real estate guys in Grosse Pointe, Plymouth, Chelsea and environs, but we finally ended up settling on Ypsilanti/Pittsfield. Lots of cute bungalows in very nice near at a price we can afford. Aimee lives there, by the way!!!
All the RE Agents told us that lots of houses come on the market as soon as it gets warmer, so we are planning to come back in a more serious way in 6 to 8 weeks. I am 100% ready to put our house on the market, but J is still mulling it over. His parents moved the family every year or two the whole time he was growing up, and he HATES the whole process. It' very hard for him to make this change and I am trying not to push him.
Keep your fingers crossed that we make our decision soon.
Ooh, good luck, Scrappy!!
Feel better, aurelia.
Um, Gud, in what way did you armor the house? Just checking.
Yes, what is armoring the house??
Yay, I have just set up my new streaming Blu Ray player! I'm watching Hulu and The Librarians on my TV.
I bought macarons today at the local bakery. I'm blaming all of you. $1 a piece fwiw.
$1 macarons would be my downfall.
In this case, armoring the house means covering the place where Gunnar likes to scratch to come in with steel.
Wow, Scrappy, how exciting!
Also curious about armoring the house.
I filled up the outside garbage can and took a nap. And I'm patting myself on the back for it.
Health~ma, aurelia. I used to get flat-Sprite for an upset stomach, for the sugar. Maybe sweeten up your tea. Honey's always good fur curing whatever, right?
Much closer to what I was picturing than I expected!
I don't blame your husband, Scrappy. Moving is a pain in the ass. I've done it three times in the last eight years, and that is fucking plenty for me.
Just discovered that there's a municipality where we live that doesn't have a smoking ban. We discovered this by walking into a place where one smoking table was stinking up the whole place, and every other table was unhappy.
