And msbelle. I have been in a similar workplace environment and getting away from it was really good for me. I would hope that seeing your anger would make them rethink their attitudes, but from what you've said about how they undervalue your work in general I kinda doubt that.

I am happy to report that the person they hired has a much better resume than mine - she was the librarian at the American Academy in Rome. I don't know her, and I have no idea why she wants to move to Cincinnati, but she's probably pretty good.
jeeeesus christ, just discovered that our bank's bill payment has been sending things a day or two late. As in, a day or two after the due date.
