My oven is not getting fixed today because the needed part is on a UPS truck instead of at my house. So now I have to wait until Wednesday.
Today's Buffy's 36th birthday. Doesn't shit always go down on her bday?
Well, there's an apocalypse scheduled for tomorrow.
Guys, I think our dog had a stroke, or maybe a mini-stroke. I came home from running errands, and he was lying down like always, and I helped him up (which we've had to do lately), but he walked though the kitchen and walked outside to pee and walked back inside and ate his treats. Then he was standing watching the kitty eat her lunch and suddenly just collapsed over to the left side. He has been wobbly on his back legs, and sometimes turns too quickly and topples over, but this was different. He just...fell like a tree being chopped down.
I helped him up, and right now he can't walk. I know he's 15, but I don't want this to be happening.
{{Teppy}} Poor pup. His legs likely gave out just like our joints sometimes don't cooperate. Just watch him for any other signs of a neurological incident. And give him some head pats from me.
Oh no, Teppy! I know how much you love your animals. Can you get him to the vet?
I was able to help him up and he can walk a little, but not great. I gave him a Tramadol, because maybe it's pain that made his legs give out. I called Tim, and he's going to see if he can come home early.
Our vet is closed on Thursday, so we'd have to take him to the emergency vet. I guess we'll wait and see how he does after the Tramadol kicks in. He doesn't seem distressed at all. Just a little confused.
Kato! Be okay, baby.
