"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

I believe that, except for the reflexive spurt of terror whenever I see anything (including terrible reporting) that doesn't support that.

Because books.

I think the tone of the texts and emails from Clinton's campaign are sort of panic-making, though. I get that they need every last dollar from now until Tuesday, but hello, more anxiety.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Every time the media sees the polls shift a couple of points and talk about the race tightening

And national polls pretty much don't mean shit at this point. It's the state polls that matter, and Trump really doesn't have a path to 270 electoral votes. Clinton is going to get 300 and probably more.

For Trump to win, it would be an upset beyond anything this country has ever seen, in an era where polling and predictions are more sophisticated than they've ever been.

Nate Silver's reflexive panic is starting to strike me as clickbait.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Non election related, it seems I have developed an allergy to acrylic nails. Research online tells me that once this shows up it will stay forever and can result in my nails separating from my nail beds. SOOOOO no more fake nails for me unless I can find a non-acrylic alternative. Acrylic powder and gel nails are out.

I am going today to get these taken off and my nails filed down to the end of my fingers and painted. Gonna see if I can do anything with my weak ass thin nails.

Nailtiques formula 2 is magic for weak nails. Seriously.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Nate Silver's reflexive panic is starting to strike me as clickbait.

Ayup. PEC has had the HRC win probability at 99% for the past month.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I think it's time for some good news! (I always have to be different.)

A while ago a school bus with kids aged 4 to 10 caught fire. The driver got the kids off and to a safe place. Then she WENT BACK INTO THE BURNING BUS to make sure there wasn't anyone left on it. Good woman! She's received all kinds of praise - deservedly.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I just came here to report my election anxiety is near an all-time high. Then I read the recent posts here and now I feel better.

Also, I think an election anxiety group hug would be nice.

Right now they're mostly raising money for PACs which will help downballot candidates (SENATE!!!!), plus high voter turnout makes it easier to say "mandate" in January, but yes, those emails are not great for the blood pressure.
