Seriously, the only way I'm not constantly nauseated is by keeping the election far, far back in my head.

Baby photo shoot sounds adorable.
I am already looking forward to Thanksgiving (though I guess I'm out of town and taking a 4 day weekend after the election, but that'll be busier--thanksgiving I have zero plans but vegging)
OMG, there is a baby photo shoot at my office today and it's the best thing ever! Everyone is adorable!
Okay, next thing you're going to tell us is that someone brought puppies for the babies to play with and you all got to snuggle the puppies.
I'm a bit concerned about the election. Trump has a decent chance. I'm having a bad day where everything feels hopeless anyhow, so that doesn't help my perspective on it.
Trump has a decent chance.
He really doesn't have a path to 270 electoral votes.
Every time the media sees the polls shift a couple of points and talk about the race tightening, the thing they forget to mention is Hillary is still ahead. She has been ahead the entire time. There has not been a single moment at any time in this entire election cycle where she has not been the projected winner.
For Trump to win, it would be an upset beyond anything this country has ever seen, in an era where polling and predictions are more sophisticated than they've ever been.
It's. Not. Going. To. Happen.
I believe that, except for the reflexive spurt of terror whenever I see anything (including terrible reporting) that doesn't support that.
I think the tone of the texts and emails from Clinton's campaign are sort of panic-making, though. I get that they need every last dollar from now until Tuesday, but hello, more anxiety.

And national polls pretty much don't mean shit at this point. It's the state polls that matter, and Trump really doesn't have a path to 270 electoral votes. Clinton is going to get 300 and probably more.

Nate Silver's reflexive panic is starting to strike me as clickbait.
Totally.
