I think people thought allowing guns in checked baggage would make things safe or at least was a compromise from not allowing guns on carry ons.
This proves that there is not a safe option except not allowing guns on planes at all and I don't see that happening.
But in the baggage claim area, you can also just walk in from outside, so it's only as safe as anywhere else.
In my airport, baggage claim is right by the doors to the street, it's where all the shuttles collect and drop off passengers.
Ok, so I tried to buy concert tickets on Ticketmaster, and as of 5:01 there are no tickets available (except premium tickets starting at $350). I am continuing to try, but for how long should I keep refreshing?
Yeah I guess that's true.
I get that people could want/need to have their guns in their checked bags for hunting trips or whatever. But I see no reason at all to allow ammunition.
Aww, flea, that sucks. No idea if it's pointful to continue trying--maybe StubHub soon?
There are already tickets up at Stubhub, at 150% markup.
So I did work today, did everything on my task list. I also watched 3 movies.
In addition to V is for Vendetta, St. Vincent, and Tallulah.
FLL shooting is horrible. I am glad I kept the tv off.
It did snow here, just a wee bit. I have to go out for dog food, so I hope there are not slick spots.
