That sounds annoying, Dana, geez.

I am seriously lacking in motivation today. Which is possibly due to the fact that the urgent tasks I have are either "bug people for the 18th time to do something" or "work on my self-eval and also come up with examples for my bio so they can pimp me out to other projects". Ugh.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

I have a quick question to see if I'm missing anything. Tim's 50th BD is this month, and because our house is so damn tiny, we are probably having the family party at his brother and SiL's house (though I have to confirm that, like, today, since his BD is the weekend before Thanksgiving).

Since it's Tim's BD, I still plan to order/bring all the food and drinks (just because BiL and SiL are letting us have the shindig at their house doesn't mean they should also have to provide the food).

So my question is this: in the list I'm about to post, am I forgetting anything?

BD cake (also other dessert because his family is HUGE and loves dessert); snacky food like chips/dip, cheese/crackers, a veggie tray; (lots of) beer/wine but also soda and bottled water and whatever the great-niecephews drink. And we'll just order a ton of pizzas (and salads in case anyone wants to boost their veggie intake).

Am I forgetting anything? Or (assuming adequate quantities for 20+ people) is that enough? Munchies, pizza, cake, alcohol. Is that good?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That sounds like a party to me!

Ugh, Dana. And meara.

I would really like to get back to some of the good habits I have been letting slide. Me of a couple months ago was way more on top of her shit, or so it seems to present me.

Oh, man, open enrollment. That's going to require thinking.

Woo! (I just emailed my mom about it and said "You should come, because I can guarantee with Tim's family, something will be lit on fire. How can you pass that up?")

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Good party planning there, Steph. And yes, fire pretty.

Dana, I roll my eyes at your boss.

Tep, do you know Spooky Daly Pride's Birthday Song [key lyric: today's my birthday and the cake is on fire]

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Am I forgetting anything?

Fire extinguisher(s).

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Had my first physical therapy session today, then took the rest of the day off. I have a huge amount of sick leave saved up, so why not use it?
