According to my pharmacist, today was a very busy day for everyone filling their prescriptions before their deductibles reset.
Oh shoot, I wish I'd thought of that. Oh well. next year's flexible spending account can handle it.
The hike and sushi and scotch sounds lovely, Consuela. I hope you have some easy times in your near future.
I saw a post from my friend in Amsterdam welcoming the new year, if "god help us with what is to come" can be considered a welcome. But the new year does seem to have arrived there.
I was planning on starting to clean my filthy house today, but that didn't work out. I have no other plans for tomorrow, though, so it WILL happen.
Meanwhile, finishing off my blueberry liqueur (yum!) and Luke Cage (also yum)
But I don't feel guilty for kicking the mouse out. Or yelling at it.
Scouring the basement for edibles, I discovered that some of the packing peanuts I have were a tasty snack. I'm guessing corn or potato based. I suspect it moved in this fall-probably the noises I heard in the kitchen ceiling during my convalescence. Not enough poop found for it to be long term boarder.
I was at the pharmacy this morning and it was not busy. But maybe that was to come.
Went and hung out with an old friend who has moved back to town + partner and toddler, which was fun! Am just as glad to be home now.
Matched Magic Mike XXL to end the year and now I'm going to bed because time is a construct.
Black-eyed peas are in the pressure cooker, Luke Cage finale cued up. Still sipping on that blueberry liqueur.
That's it for the blueberry, on to the schnapps of unknown flavor.
ETA after tasting it, I still don't know. Spicy?

ISTG I thought you were eating packing peanuts.
Happy New Year, everyone. Let's hope we've switched back to the timeline that isn't the Kali Yuga.
The cats are hiding from the fireworks. Happy New Year!
Happy New Year, lovely Buffistas!
Hoppin' John and Garlicky Collard Greens cooked, Luke Cage (I keep wanting to call him Nick Cage or sometimes John. Sigh) watched. Cheese and Doctor Whoe to tide me over 'til midnight.
