What can we do now but cling to one another, to rejoice together in whatever joy comes to us, to share sorrows and burdens so that we may pull one another higher along this path we walk together.

Thank you, WindSparrow. Your words are a wonderful way to start my morning.
I am so sorry Suela.
It's just that I love you guys, and I wish I could protect you from grief and hardship. But I can't. All I have to offer are words, words that are anemic and shriveled. I hate these pathetic, inadequate words, but I do my best to browbeat them into something a little more.
It's particularly hard to go through these things during holidays. People are distracted by happier things while you're caught in grief, and so many support structures aren't working at proper capacity.
So sorry, Consuela, that sounds very difficult.
Goddamnit, I have a cold.
I ran a cable the length of my car while keeping it completely concealed. That's the first step of my new stereo install. Now to wire together the stereo harness to the adapter harness in two hundred easy steps.
I need a new mattress, so I went to a mattress store yesterday, and it was closed! For no apparent reason. Now I'm trying to decided if I should go to a different mattress store or to Sears. Thoughts? (I don't like my current internet mattress, so I'm disinclined to go that road again, but would take arguments if different foam mattresses really are that different from one another.)
My mattress is great. I got it from my parent's basement after they replaced it with an adjustable one. Unfortunately, I think that was the last mattress my parent's basement had so that probably isn't very helpful.
