So sorry, Consuela, that sounds very difficult.

Goddamnit, I have a cold.
I ran a cable the length of my car while keeping it completely concealed. That's the first step of my new stereo install. Now to wire together the stereo harness to the adapter harness in two hundred easy steps.
I need a new mattress, so I went to a mattress store yesterday, and it was closed! For no apparent reason. Now I'm trying to decided if I should go to a different mattress store or to Sears. Thoughts? (I don't like my current internet mattress, so I'm disinclined to go that road again, but would take arguments if different foam mattresses really are that different from one another.)
My mattress is great. I got it from my parent's basement after they replaced it with an adjustable one. Unfortunately, I think that was the last mattress my parent's basement had so that probably isn't very helpful.
Macy's usually has a big mattress sale this time of year.
The only time I have bought a mattress I got it from a furniture store along with the bedroom suite, as the Price is Right would call it, so I don't know if I should be listened to, but my gut says Sears.
I don't know how anyone gets anything done in the wintertime. Maybe if I could ski from my door to somewhere I would feel differently. Or maybe I would just need a bigger pile of comforters to burrow under.
ETA I just noticed that Macy's has mattresses a week or so ago. Probably a good place to lie down on a few?
I don't think my local Macy's actually has furniture, but will double check.
For whatever reason the mattress store scares me more than a department store, so I guess I'll try Sears.
Since Gud's parents' basement isn't going to hook me up. Thanks for nothing!!
