"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

I'm sure it's going to happen any minute.

brillig

I just realized that I need to be at work at 6 AM this Sunday--the day the clocks change. Of course, this puts me at home after 2 PM and I have the next Friday off, giving me a three-day weekend, but still, time chaos.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Our four little neighbors came by, and that may be it for trick-or-treaters for us. Did I tell you people I found out what they do? There are two streets to either side of us where everyone goes. And they don't go anywhere else!

Watching Buffy, "Halloween."

OMG, my friend made an amazing BB-8 for her toddler, and she's Rey, and it is awesome.

My across-the-aisle coworker came as Luke-on-Degobah (which he was kind of bummed was not very recognizable by itself) with his 3-month-old as Yoda on his back, his wife as R2D2 and their daughter as Leia. Pretty cute!
