Natter 75: More Than a Million Natters Served
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I'm being eaten from the bottom.
But I've just finished the work I had to get done. I mean OTHER than the thing I need to do if she can ever get the PO set correctly. But I'm going to do my timesheet, log off, and then...I don't even know. Maybe wrap the rest of the presents I need to wrap. Maybe a nap. Maybe go to the rec center. Or maybe just put in a dumb movie and veg out.
Oh crap I just realized I'm the last engineer standing. NOBODY TELL THE CUSTOMERS.
My plan of not really working much today did not pan out, but I was able to leave early, if after everyone else in my department was already gone. Now I kinda just wanna go to bed and hope sleeping a lot leaves me without a cold tomorrow,
Ten more minutes in my work day.
Dang. Condolences to all of you. I met up with a friend of my sisters at a cofeee shop--but ended up with a migraine and came back and slept on medication for five hours. Am now worried I'll have another one in the week I'm still here and won't have any medication! Merry Christmas?
I was supposed to have a massage tonight but I cancelled to be able to meet up with a friend for drinks. But I'm still feeling all too meh to get dressed in outside clothes and be social. I just don't wanna. Me bailing won't be a big deal as it was a casual group thing and I really only know a couple of the people who will be there beyond my friend.
I'm trying to wrap up a school assignment due today (95% done already) and I may crawl in bed early. Yes, it is 5:20 and my bed is calling.
We've been basically excused from working tomorrow but, given I just came back from a 5-day vacation and deadlines don't take a break, I'll be working at least part of the day.
Hey, does anybody know of any great books about US National Parks?
Like nonfiction books? I'd say the Anna Pigeon mystery series each set in a different national park is amazing (by Nevada Barr)
Since the stereo in my car has finally died I got myself a new one. It's going to give me CD, USB, Bluetooth, in-dash GPS, and a backup camera. Should be an interesting installation job.
