Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ha! Readers, man.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

When I was in high school my best friend and I each bought each other "Interview with a Vampire" because we saw the movie. But neither of us could wait, so we both very carefully, without breaking the spine, read the copy we were going to give to the other!

Has anyone else seen this? photos of animals fished out of the deep sea - WARNING - one picture is of an enormous marine Jillifont!

I feel like teeth on fish are a bridge too far.

Love that.

I have twice in my life bought the same gift the other person had bought me, and doesn't it make you feel like soulmates?

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

My family's done that (buying the same book for each other). And I early on mastered the art of reading a book and leaving it immaculate.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I had a friend in high school, who snooped and discovered he was getting a fringed leather jacket he'd really wanted (hey, it was the 70s). He carefully unwrapped it, tried it on, realized it was the wrong size, took it to the store and exchanged it for the correct size, and rewrapped it. That took balls, IMO.

That is AMAZING.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Scrappy, I will never be as ballsy as your be-fringed friend.

At some point she also said "Nothing says Christmas like Yippie Ki Yay motherfucker!"

crying-laughing emoji!

They're doing aerial shots of Masada

I once had a dream that Satan fell in love with a girl named Masada, and her love made him compassionate, and that made G-d so angry He tried to kill them with lightning bolts but they got away by hiding inside a mountain. I don't know why I remember that dream.

Some of those things, I can't tell where the face is. They give me the willies. The space aliens have been here all along.

I never decorate for Christmas, because we always all go to my sister's huge house and she decorates. I'm starting to feel like I want my own holiday decorations. Maybe that's a sign of the depression receding.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I went to a used bookshop once and the three books I bought had been sold to the shop by the clerk. He asked me out for coffee on the spot. (I'd have said yes but the guy I was currently seeing was with me in the shop at the time.)

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

There's a local used book place that I donate to - they use the profits to fund literacy programs. Periodically, I'll look at the available books when I drop off a bagful ... and I keep finding myself drawn to books that I've donated (or other copies of the same ones). Consistancy?
