Angel: He is dead. Technically, he's undead. It's a zombie. Connor: What's a zombie? Angel: It's an undead thing. Connor: Like you? Angel: No, zombies are slow-moving, dimwitted things that crave human flesh. Connor: Like you. Angel: No! It's different. Trust me.

Thrive to spite them

Suela that's scary. Glad someone was on the ball and caught it.

There was freezing rain but it wasn't that bad until I got to work. I went my regular route through the mountains and saw a car that had gone off the road and crashed into the embankment.

Got to work and the supervisor wasn't ther. My coworker and I thought we were going to have a repeat of the 3 hours wait when she massively overslept

She didn't oversleep. It was her car I passed...and she was on the other side of the road in the fake walking to the volunteer firestation and I didn't see her. A deer ran in the road and she swerved and skidded.

I'm going to be much more careful going that way.

Then I almost fell in the parking lot because it was a wee bit icy.

Coming home there was lots of rain but much warmer.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Thank you for the suggestions. Other than bananas, most of those are staples for her anyway. I wonder if I can get her to sip on Ensure throughout the day. Get some stealth nutrients in.

I should be cleaning the snow off my car so I can run errands but I am becatted.

Be careful out there, everyone!

Consuela, that is terrifying and enraging.

I need to do laundry and pack, errands, clear out the refrigerator. So far I have managed to get up and make tea.

Punishingly Intricate

It's close AND I get to support lisah's friend's salon without cheating on my stylist

Yay!!!! The esthetician there is awesome. I got a 90 minute facial with her last month and am trying to figure out when I can justify getting another.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

It's warming up here, so I'm glad I went and shoveled the walk just now before it all turned to slush.

Ventured out and got my first facial ever. This could be habit forming.

Yeah, I had a facial over the summer and loved it. But I have enough self-indulgent habits!

Our wings are not tired.

Ventured out and got my first facial ever.

Facials are the best. I would rather have a facial than a massage any day. I am WAY overdue.

Really?? I think I've only ever had one facial, maybe it was a terrible one? I didn't understand what made it awesome? I would take a massage any day.

I'd happily take both, although I did get a nice massage when I was on vacation. The masseuse scolded me for not stretching my IT band enough, though.

It's only 23 degrees outside, but the sun is pouring into my place so it's bright and warm. There are four hours of GBBO Christmas Masterclasses on PBS and I'm boiling eggs to make deviled eggs. I see no reason to leave the house today.

Lovely, Connie.

I have to vacuum: the dog hair is everywhere. And then off to agility class, to be scolded by the trainer for not having practiced at ALL in three weeks.
