Buffy: So how'd she get away with the bad mojo stuff? Anya: Giles sold it to her. Giles: Well, I didn't know it was her. I mean, how could I? If it's any consolation, I may have overcharged her.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I had forgotten about some presents I needed to buy, so I just did that (thanks, Lands' End!), so that's good. I actually think these are slightly more likely to go over well than other things I've gotten these people, who are impossible to buy for.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I think this may not be the Neko Atsume thread, but I finally saw Peaches! Still need Bengal Jack and 5 mystery cats.

It's currently 46 degrees here, heading slowly to a low of 18 tonight. Fortunately the rain should stop before it hits freezing. Next three days of single-digit lows. Yay, winter.

I was so happy when the guy on the radio said New England is the coldest part of the country today, because it is COLD! But might be 50 on Sunday?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Pardon me, apparently it might be almost 60 on Sunday.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

It's 10 F here. Mom is here, and normally I would go and do errands. I'm not going anywhere.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Holy fuck, the high on Sunday is going to be 32. Nooooo.

Our wings are not tired.

How is your mother's ankle, Jesse?

Well, that went pretty well even though I forgot 2 things and will need to go back for them. But even feeling ' pretty good,' can't miss the fact that four days ago, I had 4 holes cut in me,stuff puffed full of gas and a piece distorted to the size of a small sweet potato removed. Much more motion than just walking around the house. Kinda bleahrgy.

I'm gonna make oatmeal cookies later. And getting the two damn things I forgot. But now I'm gonna let my insides settle.

Can you feel things resettling to fill the space? Hubby said that was weird when he had his out.
