If you had to pick only one, would you donate to the SPLC or the ACLU?
These two posts in a row had me going "Society for Prevention of Lost Cats? ohhhh, right".
Hee. Whereas as a journalism teacher, I see SPLC and think Student Press Law Center (which is, for the record, an EXCELLENT place to donate money also). :-)

The Student Press Law Center is an advocate for student First Amendment rights, for freedom of online speech, and for open government on campus. The SPLC provides information, training and legal assistance at no charge to student journalists and the educators who work with them.
For the record, I have used their services multiple times, and they are amazing.
I'm gonna eat something and then I'M GOING TO THE STORE. BY MYSELF.
(Relax, it is close. Walkable even.)
You know, I still think it is kind of funny that "buffalo" is a flavor that is not made of buffalo! Also, I am not sure that I have ever had non-buffalo wings.
I am glad Sara gets to go to the store.
msbelle, I do not know how you have the energy to do so much!
I came to work really early because I couldn't sleep (because my hip hurt), and then I fell asleep in my office for an hour! The floor actually seemed super comfy for my hip.
Most impressive, sarameg!

I guess we should capitalize it so it's Buffalo, not buffalo. Non-Buffalo wings are meh.
I am enjoying picturing the majestic buffalo soaring over the plains right now.
The laundry from Mac's room ( stuff on floor and sheets from bed) 5 loads of laundry. 5!!!!! Unreal.
Today is the last of school for Mac this year. He is failing English by a lot and I got a call from the teacher yesterday. So en route to school today I told him I was called and that if he had any completed assignments he should turn them in, otherwise he needed to speak with the teacher, figure out what he could do over break and have work ready to turn in the first day back, otherwise he will fail. No response or reaction. If nothing else, my child has learned to ignore like a fucking champ. Master level ignoring.
IOnonMacN - Today half the office people are gone, work is super quiet which is AWESOME!
I am earwormed with We Need a Little Christmas due to Barb. I love it though, so it is happy making. Mame is my life goal.
I had forgotten about some presents I needed to buy, so I just did that (thanks, Lands' End!), so that's good. I actually think these are slightly more likely to go over well than other things I've gotten these people, who are impossible to buy for.
I think this may not be the Neko Atsume thread, but I finally saw Peaches! Still need Bengal Jack and 5 mystery cats.
