I hope she doesn't need surgery or anything, Jesse.
It doesn't sound like it, but she's going back to the doctor next week.

Laura!! I am SO RELIEVED for you both! Now our little va-cay will be extra celebratory! Drinks on Sunday!
Damn straight, Pix! I celebrated by buying some light sleeveless tops because it is going to be warm.
While in my state of euphoria I decided to take on my #2 son's laptop which he pronounced irretrievably dead. First I gave it to #1 son because he thinks he is all that, and he declared it irretrievably dead. They have both been emplyed as computer techs. Couldn't get to bios or nothin'. Yeah that's right, who's the queen tech in this house. All better now. When the 62 year old mom has the skillz the 22 and 24 yo kids born in a computer store lack. Oh yeah. Go Mom!
I think there is something rodential living in my kitchen ceiling. Or a bird? It's not getting far, can't get far into walls.
Great.
my dog has fleas. I have vacuumed and I sprayed my bed this morning. dog got a fleabath last week and I did a bunch of laundry, but I saw a few fleas this morning. Of course now I itch all over which is stupid.
sarameg, you remind me of Hubby, who on the evening of spinal surgery would be doing slow laps of the hospital floor while the nurses would be telling the man in the next room, who was three days past his surgery, that he had to try to sit up, never mind stand up and walk to the en suite toilet. His doctor learned to add 5 to any pain scale reference. "Your pain can't just be a 3, one of the screws in the plates in your spine has come loose." "It's not as bad as a kidney stone, doc. And I've had a bilateral retrograde."
ION, the medieval/renaissance music concert was quite pleasant. I had minor, impersonal chatting about knitting and music, listened to very nice music, and remembered I really like crumhorns. Unfortunately, competing perfumes had me going for my inhaler at the end of it. Most of the events are at 7 PM on weeknights, though, and I don't get out of work till 6 and I work half an hour away. I'm going to have to see if there will be events where it won't matter if I show up late.
msbelle, 20 Mule Team Borax for all surfaces. Trust me.
Sorry MAC is a pill. He'll regret it eventually you but it sucks getting through. A lot.
The exciting thing is that I can go to urgent care, which won't cost me anything right now, and try to get them to give me a prescription. Which will also not cost me. So, yay? Glad the end of the world coincided with my year of high health costs?
I hit my limits on Rx and probably everything. It's a depressing yay.
Sarajevo, pillows against tummywhen you cough until you can tighten you ab core.
Go, Laura! How satisfying .
Yay Laura!
