I'm not crying. YOU'RE CRYING!

Our wings are not tired.

I cannot even. I'm not surprised by McConnell, because he's always been a heinous shitgibbon, but Obama should have forced the issue and taken the hit.

The whole election cluster$%&@ is so depressing. It would appear that too many people of power/influence/money are just accepting handing out government over to these people without a fight. It is 2000 all over again, and I can't help but fear that the horror that followed that election will be minor compared to what could happen now.

That feeling when your mom's best friend SCORCHES THE EARTH on your ex

Wow, Suzi. Is this something you and your kids have to be in the middle of, or something you can observe from a safe distance?

Oh safe distance, Laura. It was on FB, she posted something about the Obamas, he responded, she blew him out of the water. Then unfriended and blocked him. CJ is at his dad's, so no clue if he has seen it or not or if his dad said anything. K-Bug is with me and she is in the same WOW cycle. Personally, I hadn't even realized that they were still FB friends (best friend of mom and ex).

I'm still kinda shocked. She said all the things I've said in my head multiple times but never put down anywhere and I won't even quote them here.

Dang, Suzi. Kind of awesome.

I got up and hit a sample sale, but was sorely disappointed in the prices (it was still like, $100 for a hoodie) and left after just a couple minutes. Then met up with a friend at a craft fair and bought several presents for people, and then mailed some things at the post office and bought stamps. So productive! And then...have done nothing for the past hour. :)

Was thinking of going to another craft fair, later, but also need to make cookie dough for a cookie-making party tomorrow, and eat some lunch, and work out, before going to a holiday party tonight. And still so sleepy even though I got plenty of rest last night!

I agree, meara. Still in the mental WOW cycle.

We are having a cookie swap party here. It is the first time we have hosted one and we already have lessons learned. Between Kelly and I we invited a ton of people, figuring on a few would be able to come. We ended up with 16 bakers! I then put up a poll asking how many cookies we should bake - 3 per baker, 6 per baker and such. 6 per baker won. That means 8 dozen cookies!!! We should have just capped the number of cookies and then however that worked out for the number of cookies per type that you got out of the swap is what you got.

Kelly's boyfriend is going to be in charge of Jack and keeping him upstairs. Not sure how much of a happy camper Jack will be, but after tiptoeing around him and not having people over is not happening. He actually has been doing better with people IN out house rather than outside of it.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Thanks, Consuela! I've already been crying all day because of this child's funeral, so that did not help! But thank you anyway.

Wow, Suzi, that's going to be quite a party.

I'm sorry to add to your sadness, Jesse.

Went to see Dad; he said he was sad because he couldn't find Mom. And he has it in his mind that he's moving to the 3rd floor because the food there is better. Sigh. I gave him a muffin and then went to run errands.

Now I have my external hard drive back and I can get my Pratchett audiobooks back!

Nah, not more sadness, just more crying!

Super glad I went, though, even though it was hours away. In a great call, my mother and I got a ride, so it was more relaxing as well.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Mr. S is being super fussy today and won't nap. Sigh...
