Our wings are not tired.

Ten more days. Ten more days....

The people that watch the 24 hour news channels made up their minds long ago. The tiny percentage of people that are really undecided are more likely to just be turned off and stay home than run to Trump as their savior. It seems the undecideds just hate both sides.

In my state my brother is voting for the Constitutional party candidate and my son is voting for Stein. As annoying as I find both of them, at least they aren't voting for Trump.

Unfortunately there is likely to be some new scandal every single day for the next 10 days. On both sides. Sigh. It is over for me since I voted! Alas, it seems hiding in my bedroom until Nov 9th isn't an option.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

I'm trying to ignore all political stuff since I've already donated and voted, but I still found myself explaining the American political system yesterday at lunch with our winery tour group.

On the bright side, Lee and I are touring Milford Sound today.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Tonight Gary and I are going to a concert while Gary's dad looks after Mr. S. This is the first concert we've been to since he came along that wasn't part of a convention.(Tom Paxton and John McCutcheon, if anyone's wondering)

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I'm sorry for your loss, Laura.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I don't want to kill you, Empress. But it would be fun to hang out!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OMG, so much accomplished. Cleaned everything on my bed, and put it all on my new mattress! Spent like an hour and a half cleaning the basement with my mother, and it's kind of great. We filled up the whole trash and recycling bin. Come to find out, a bunch of the clutter down there was empty cardboard boxes. Also self-cleaning my oven, which was basically a mistake, but it's more or less warm enough out to have all the windows open, so I guess that's OK.

But now I really really don't want to go to a Halloween party in the suburbs tonight.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

I had an msbelle, and now I have a kitchen, and then we had Mexican food.
