I was, but the earthquake woke me up. And then my shuttle never showed up, so I stood in the rain for half an hour and I'm probably going to be late to my class.

This Christmas-on-the-weekend thing is really bumming me out. Like, when am I going to do anything to prepare? I just got a bee in my bonnet about making cretons (french-canadian pork spread) and maybe giving it to family members, but no. The weekend prior is my mother's big party, so that will take up that whole weekend. Oy vey. (Which I thought was a French expression as a child because I only heard it from my Memere!) I guess I can make it after Christmas and just keep it for me!
