I'm very sorry if she tipped off anyone about your cunningly concealed herd of cows.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Cereal mixing is the main problem in my marriage. My DH mixes. He no longer mixes ALL the cereals without asking, though, after I threw an operatic, melodramatic shitfit about cereal mixing and trust.

You cannot mix In Box!!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Jesse, I would find the blood concerning, but it sounds like she does that a lot.

It just started last week-ish.

If she's acting normal I might wait but mine are extremely vet averse.

As long as she's eating and not hunched over, I'd probably give it a day.

OK, thanks, guys! I am afraid she has cancer or similar Big Problem which I wouldn't actually treat, so I am disinclined to bring her in to the vet, but will call on Monday if she doesn't seem worse tomorrow.

Msbelle, my daughter was born in March.

Jesse, I've been through similar with the cat I had before I moved here. Eventually they decided she had cancer of the intestinal lining or something, but the test to find out for sure was like 500 bucks. Instead of paying for the test we just started the treatment, which was subcutaneous fluids and steroids. And guess what? She made it. She just died of old age this past year.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Thank you, Callaluna -- that's exactly what I was looking to hear!

GUILT GUILT GUILT

Today is Gotcha day and I forgot and planned nothing.

I am at church and Mac is at home so I will get him lunch and some cupcakes I guess.

Ugh.

He also stayed up all night and I already had words with him this morning.

I don't know if it is any consolation, but my mom sent me an email in the wee smalls because she didn't call yesterday and felt guilty because she's been calling every.damned.day since the er visit to check on me.

To which this child's response is "aw, mom, don't feel guilty!"

And an eyeroll.

First part to you too. NSM the second.

Our wings are not tired.

We teased my mother relentlessly over her habit of taking blame and feeling guilty. No matter what happened in life we would joke that it was obviously Mom's fault, much like the 'Thanks Obama' thing.

Happy Gotcha Day! Some years it will be a sucky day, but most years it will be a wonderful day. Yay, parenthood?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Bringing home treats for lunch to a surly teen sounds just right.

Just did a bunch of Christmas shopping at one table at the local flea, but I'm not 100% sure everyone else will love this person's style like I do. Oh well!
