Our wings are not tired.

Oh dear, flea.

I have a special tool for that, but a long reach and wrench will do it. You can always turn it back off...

We have done that! Have the tool somewhere in the garage. Um, of course for use of turning off when we need to work on plumbing...

I have a couple water coolers. One ancient one from when my dad was working and one I bought for the office a while back. I fill the 5 gallon bottles at the grocery store for $1.50 because I am cheap.

Just life built up. But I cannot pull a "cat shoving stuff off counters" meme at work, and for once I am in danger of doing so.

Dang, flea. I hope if you call in sick to work it gives you the opportunity to go blow off some steam somehow??

I have to get through this morning before heading to Canada with a crew of friends. Many of them will be skiing but some of us are just in it for the hot tub and fjreolace. Last night I thought about who's going and realized I am the only not-skinny person going. The rest of them all play soccer and now I don't want to be in a bikini. :(

But we won second place in trivia last night!helped that for once we did pretty well on the music round. I was possibly the only person out of 28 teams that got "Waving flag" by K'naan.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Sorry, flea. I hope your frustrations get reduced soon.

In other news, a local university is often referred to as "the Gothic wonderland" due to its campus architecture. They just got a new president: [link]

Perfect appointment is perfect.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

(((flea))) Hope the day off is good for you.

Have fun, meara! Woo trivia!

That's terrific, Calli!

I'm working the outlet store today, whee! I have no normal Fridays this month: store, store, department offsite lunch&movie, holiday, oh wait 12/30 is a normal day. Still, it's a funny way for things to work out.

Amazing!

I was just trying to have a Skype interview in a conference room when I realized the speaker on my computer was still out loud and not through my earphones, which was yikes, but then the whole sound crapped out and we ended up just talking on the phone. Stupid technology.

So clearly that's the answer to How Do Yo Have A Sillier Name For Your University President Than Dick Brodhead.

I watched the MAMAs (basically, Asia's Grammys/MTV awards) livestream and dancey Korean pop stars helped a bit.

move out and draw fire

I feel like Skype and Hangouts should check and warn you "Nothing is plugged into the audio jack; playing sound through your speakers can result in feedback."

Oh god, the feedback.
