"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Thanks, Hec. I was just worried that 15 months was too young to suddenly start being picky.

One, I think it is evil that municipalities shut off water like that. Two, they just changed our billing system and I'm now super paranoid I'll miss a bill (because they are making a mess of it) and have in the past when it was quarterly, but I think there's an injunction or something over shutting off water until waaaaay overdue here. Or they just weren't that organized.

I am really impatient with being ailing. Like completely unreasonable and irrational.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Yeah, turning off your water with no warning seems a bit much.

And now she is doing laps in her crib (not crying) because she doesn't want to sleep. Sigh.

sarameg, I'm so sorry. Also, seconding that shutting off water after one missed bill is evil.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I am really impatient with being ailing. Like completely unreasonable and irrational.

That sounds reasonable to me!

And I'd like to point out that in a lot of places they don't actually turn off your water when you don't pay your bill since people need water to live and all.

Yeah, you know, if our water has never been turned off here, it's because they give you many notifications. Because there were several years where bills were paid very erratically, between my father's dementia and my mother taking over.

Our wings are not tired.

Ha! The burst of energy before collapse. I wish I got one of those.

In water news apparently my city is doing their cleaning the pipes thing or whatever it is because the chemical smell is super strong. Do Not Like. Grateful for my water cooler.

It lasted for 45 minutes! I should put the fitbit on her.

Also, I should note, wrt water cutoff, you can totally physically turn it back on. Legally, well. But you can go out to the meter and turn the valve. I have a special tool for that, but a long reach and wrench will do it. You can always turn it back off...

I have to store 100 boxes (of buche de Noel) and need to know if our freezer is big enough. I am literally helpless with this -- I'm having anxiety just thinking about it.

The box dimensions, in inches, are: 5 1/8 x 7 7/8 x 4 1/4

The dimensions of the freezer, in inches, are: 20 x 61 1/2 x 25

Any help so very much appreciated.
