I could squeeze you until you popped like warm champagne, and you'd beg me to hurt you just a little bit more.

I'm uncomfortable, but not in severe pain. Not moving, I don't feel it. Moving, think a badly pulled or strained muscle. If it got super painful again, I'd be having emergency surgery. Pain meds are mostly for at night, so I can sleep through when I move.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Ugh, sarameg. That sucks all around.

I remembered I had some of my grandfather's eggplant parm in the fridge. So, today is improving. Also ltc woke up slightly less of a crank monster.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Something in this room is making notification sounds. This is weird, because the only two things that should do that are my phone and my husband's phone. My phone is next to me, his is with him.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

The beeps are coming from INSIDE THE HOUSE!

hip deep in pie

Sara, have they given you anti-B's. alongside the painkiller.

Coincidentally, my dad is having a scope today, and the hope it that will flush the gall stone stuck in his bile duct (must be much smaller than sara's) and he should be going home from the hospital tomorrow. The dr. told him that since he made it to 88 without any previous gall bladder problems, it probably won't act up on him again.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

In other medical news, it's OK to cancel a first date with someone I'm not that interested in because I have to go pick up meds for my cat, right?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I mean, I don't even know him, so of course I'm not that interested! He might be great.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Dad~ma for Sue.

Totally, Jesse. You could reschedule if you want. That seems like a valid reason to change plans, although you may want to leave the specifics unspecified...

I'm pulling the trigger on the convection oven AND a deep fryer because if I miss this opportunity and it never comes again (who knows if we will keep this license or if they will extend the courtesy of employee discounts if we do or if I will even have this job in the future?) it would haunt me. So. I'll save by making all my food from scratch...
