The breaking news is all over the place - Rosenstein is about to resign, Rosenstein is about to be fired, Rosenstein has already resigned, Rosenstein will not resign.
The current report is that none of that happened, and Rosenstein still has his job.

I hope so. The yellow/orange bellied one would certainly do this while he was out of town. Also, they are pretty desperate to take attention away from Kavanaugh.
Apparently there's a big legal distinction between Rosenstein being fired or resigning.
If he resigns then Trump can put anybody he wants into the position.
If he's fired that sets off a much bigger process.
So as long as Rosenstein can hold out...
