Thanks for all the neat ideas! I'll let you know what I end up doing.

Grilled cabbage is nom.

Those roasted cabbage steaks look yummy. I usually end up stir frying it or making soup.
My frustration level over the Kavanaugh bullshit is over the top. I have to turn off the tv and do something productive.
For those who love cabbage rolls but think it is too much work, chop the cabbage, put all ingredients in a large pot, maybe add a little tomato juice, cook it up that way. Very tasty, much less work.
Question. I've never used Lyft or Uber or such. Say I want to arrange a ride via Lyft from the airport to my hotel, how far in advance do you set that up? If you set if up and your flight gets delayed can you change it? Or do you set it up after you arrive?
You can book a Lyft ride a week in advance, which locks in the price. You can also just call a Lyft when you get there, and I can't imagine you'd have much trouble getting one at the airport.
You can cancel a planned ride, but if the driver is already on the way, you'll be charged a fee.
Special election in TX yesterday State Senate seat in a district that has been D for a long time. The seat is open because the last Senator is headed to prison, guilty of 11 felonies. It's a district where there's been a lot of corruption and machine style party politics. R won the seat last night and now Rs hold 2/3 of the TX Senate.
All depressing, but this is the worst part. Only 5% of eligible voters came out.
Turnout is the only thing that will matter in Nov.
